Weidman and Kreider win 4th event with 14.26 lbs.
Launch: Glen Cove Marina Conowingo Dam The 4th tournament for the Maryland Division was held on Conowingo Dam which is part of the Susquehanna River system. This is the only event that’s non-tidal for this division.
Taking 1st place with 5 bass was the team of Adam Weidman and Josh Kreider. They weighed in 5 bass for 14.26 lbs. which gave them 1st Place Checks and 1st Place Bonus Bucks totaling $747 dollars.
Finishing in 2nd place was the team of Paul Wiley and Jon Crans – their mix bag of 5 bass weighed in at 13.50 which included the big bass of the tournament. Their 2nd Place Checks, 2nd Place Bonus Bucks & Big Bass checks gave them winnings of $433. Paul and Jon head into the final event with a 5 point lead in the overall standings.
Rounding out the top 5 teams were:
3rd place Don Carter and Brent Thackston 13.40 lbs.
4th place Don Daily and Stephen Enck 12.51 lbs. (all smallies)
5th place Buzz Billings II & Buzz III 11.22 lbs.
Jon Crans delivered a great message at our meeting held at Victorious Faith Fellowship. Though no decisions were made, it was a very challenging message to hear and it’s great to have Jon in our division. We were also greeted with a great meal from this church – fried chicken, potato logs and green beans along with dessert. Thanks to those who helped with our dinner.
