Chester County Bass Masters Open #4, September 7, 2013
15 anglers showed up on a chilly Saturday to fish the 4th Chester County Open of the year on the Northeast River. A major cold front rolled thru the area dropping the morning air temps down into the high 40’s for the launch, more like late Fall weather than late summer. Water temps were in the low 70’s with a heavy mist on the water for the first couple of hours.
The tournament winning team of John Detwiler and Ron Lutz took home first place cash bringing in a 5 bass limit that topped the scales at 15.63 pounds helped by a 4.22 largemouth.
2nd place cash and tournament lunker money was won by the team of Paul Wiley and Jon Crans with a 5 bass limit of 15.18 anchored with a healthy 5.45 largemouth.
